Where we need hands right now
At Ellis-Reid, we craft more than millwork — we build careers. We are looking for driven, coachable individuals who want to learn from master cabinetmakers, develop real skills, and be part of a team that takes pride in exceptional craftsmanship.
What you'll do
- —Learn the art and craft of high-end custom cabinetry
- —Work hands-on with skilled craftsmen on real projects
- —Operate quality equipment and hand tools
- —Build skills in woodworking, assembly, finishing and more
What we're looking for
- —Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- —Eagerness to learn and take direction
- —Pride in your work and a team-first mindset
- —Desire for a long-term career in the trades
- —Experience is helpful, but not required
Own the last ten percent that everyone sees. Spray, glaze, and hand-rub finishes on custom cabinetry and paneling to designer-approved samples.
What you'll do
- —Prep, sand, and spray paint- and stain-grade millwork
- —Match approved color and sheen samples consistently
- —Maintain spray equipment and a clean booth
- —Inspect and touch up before crating and delivery
What we're looking for
- —2+ years finishing experience in a cabinet or millwork shop
- —Understanding of conversion varnish, lacquer, and glazing
- —Sharp eye for color, sheen, and surface quality
- —Careful, methodical, and consistent
