Ellis Reid Millwork Supply is a premier provider of high-end architectural millwork, serving builders, designers, and homeowners throughout the Carolinas. Our team supports a wide range of products including custom mouldings, doors, dimensional lumber, and complete millwork packages tailored to each project. With a strong reputation for quality, reliability, and service, we work closely with our clients to ensure every detail is executed at a high level.


As we continue to grow, we are looking to add an Inside Sales Associate to our team—someone who can help support the sales process, build accurate quotes, coordinate with our internal teams, and contribute to delivering a seamless experience for our clients. This role is critical in helping us maintain our standards while expanding our reach in the market.


What You'll Do

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for supporting the sales process through estimating, proposal development, internal coordination, and pipeline management. This role focuses on preparing accurate pricing, organizing sales data, and enabling the outside sales team to focus on business development and jobsite engagement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and sales documentation based on project requirements.
  • Assist in qualifying opportunities through internal review of plans, specifications, and scope.
  • Coordinate with estimating, production, and project management teams to ensure accuracy in pricing and scope.
  • Maintain and update opportunity and project data in the CRM system.
  • Track sales pipeline activity and report progress to sales leadership.
  • Support outside sales representatives with takeoffs, pricing, and account support tasks.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of project documentation prior to order entry.
  • Assist with order processing and coordinate internal handoff to operations after sale.
  • Identify gaps or inconsistencies in plans/specs and escalate internally for clarification.


Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in inside sales, estimating, or sales support.
  • Experience in construction, millwork, cabinetry, building materials, or manufacturing preferred.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in pricing and documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office or similar software.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset.
